By October 11, 2026, despite being sick, he still took the field and contributed to a 32–29 road win in Seattle, helping the 49ers maintain their undefeated 5–0 record. From a player selected in the fifth round in 2017 to a symbol of the entire team, that journey captures the meaning of the words “Built Different” on the shirt.
