Barry Sanders Lomas To The Hall Shirt – Lions Legends Honor Their Teammate

The Lomas To The Hall Shirt gained major attention on September 27, 2026, when Barry Sanders returned to Ford Field for Lions Homecoming and appeared on the stadium screen wearing a shirt with the words “LOMAS TO THE HALL.” The message was directed toward former offensive tackle Lomas Brown, who played 11 seasons in Detroit and lined up alongside Sanders for seven seasons.

Brown moved closer to Canton when he became a semifinalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026 for the first time. He was selected to 7 Pro Bowls, earned First-Team All-Pro honors, and holds records for the most games played and most starts by an offensive tackle. Although he has not yet been inducted, Brown is still regarded as one of Detroit’s most notable potential future Hall of Fame selections.
