According to the Bills, the grey color was chosen to evoke the steel mills, grain elevators, and rail yards that helped shape Western New York’s industrial history, while also honoring Buffalo’s blue-collar spirit.

The jersey uses a monochrome grey base as its main color, giving it a modern look that stands apart from the traditional blue-and-red set. The front features a royal blue number 17 trimmed in white and red, with the  Bills logo on the left chest. Both sleeves have tone-on-tone dark grey stripes, while the back displays the name ALLEN in white above a large number 17.
