The Richard Sherman Throwback 2011 Jersey is a Legacy edition recreating the home jersey Sherman wore when he entered the league. Seattle selected him in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft; number 25 was the number he wore throughout his seven seasons with the Seahawks, from four interceptions as a rookie to the Legion of Boom and Super Bowl XLVIII.

On Kickoff Night 2026 at Lumen Field — with the Seahawks opening the season against the Patriots and raising the Super Bowl LX banner — Sherman was invited to raise the 12th Man flag.
